01What is included in every package?+
Every package includes an independent review of the submitted record by a cardiac surgeon and cardiologist, a patient-facing WHITEGLOVE Insights™ report, applicable guideline and risk context, and two physician signatures. Higher tiers add live physician access after the written review.
02What is the difference between Consult and Heart Team?+
WHITEGLOVE Consult includes a live conversation with one of the physicians who reviewed your case. WHITEGLOVE Heart Team brings both reviewing physicians — cardiac surgery and cardiology — into the same live conversation.
03When does the 24-hour turnaround begin?+
The 24-hour review window begins after the required medical records and imaging are received and confirmed complete. If something important is missing, the review remains paused while the records team helps obtain it.
04Do I have to collect all of my records and imaging myself?+
No. After you authorize release, our records team can help request and organize the clinical notes, test reports, and imaging needed for review. You may also upload anything you already have.
05What happens after payment?+
You create your secure account, complete the required authorizations, and tell us where you received care. Records intake then begins. Clinical review starts only after the required record and imaging set is confirmed complete.
06Is this a replacement for my doctor?+
No. WHITEGLOVEMD provides educational decision support and second-opinion-style review. We do not replace your treating physician, diagnose you, order tests, prescribe medications, or provide emergency care.
07Do I need a referral or do I need to travel?+
No referral or travel is required to begin. The review is completed remotely using your records and imaging. If you choose a package with a live consult, it is held by secure video or phone.
08Can a family member join the consultation?+
Yes. For packages that include a live consult, you may invite a family member or other support person to join.
09Can I use HSA, FSA, or HRA funds?+
These services may be eligible for reimbursement depending on your plan. We provide an itemized receipt; confirm eligibility and documentation requirements with your benefits administrator.
10What if I have urgent symptoms right now?+
WHITEGLOVEMD is not an emergency service. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency care immediately.
