It is a remote, medical-record-based review of a heart surgery decision. With WHITEGLOVEMD, a cardiac surgeon and cardiologist independently review the complete record and co-sign a written report. Packages above the written-review tier add a secure live consultation with one or both reviewing physicians.
Who reviews my case?
Every case is reviewed by both a cardiac surgeon and a cardiologist. The two specialties bring different perspectives to the same record and co-sign one written WHITEGLOVE Heart Team report.
Does every package include a written report?
Yes. Every package includes the complete record review and co-signed WHITEGLOVE Insights™ written report. Live physician consultation is included only in the higher consultation tiers.
How much does an online cardiac consultation cost?
After your complimentary conversation, we email the package we recommend, what it includes, and the secure next step. The written-review package is the starting point; additional service levels add one reviewing physician live, both WHITEGLOVE Heart Team physicians live, or Concierge access through the day of surgery. There is no cost to talk to us.
How quickly will I receive the report?
The report is delivered within 24 hours after required medical records and imaging are received and confirmed complete. If something is missing, the records team will tell you and can help with collection.
Do I need a referral or need to travel?
No referral is required, and the review is completed remotely. You can upload records and receive the report without traveling to another hospital.
What records do I need?
The exact record depends on your condition and proposed procedure. It commonly includes specialist notes, echocardiography, catheterization, CT or MRI studies, laboratory results, and relevant hospital records. Upload what you have, and the records team can help identify what is still needed.
Is this a real-time virtual cardiology appointment?
Not at the written-review tier. Every case begins with review of the complete record by both specialists. Higher tiers add scheduled live consultation with the reviewing physician or physicians; this is not on-demand care and does not replace your treating team.
Can the report be shared with my current doctors?
Yes. The report is designed to support a more productive conversation with your treating cardiologist, surgeon, primary care physician, and family. You decide whom to share it with.
What if I have chest pain or urgent symptoms right now?
WHITEGLOVEMD is not an emergency service. Call 911 or seek immediate local emergency care for chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, new weakness, or any other urgent symptoms.
